Firenet APRS-IS Services

Welcome to Firenet.

Services

Firenet provides APRS-IS connectivity with some additional resources rolled in. When connecting to Firenet, you should expect the same data that you get from other APRS-IS servers, but also receive other data, in the form of APRS objects, that suppliment your understanding of the environment.

Some of that data includes:

METAR data from airports and air fields from around the world. (unproto APFMET)
River Gage data (unproto - APFH2O)
Buoy data (unproto - APFBOU)
CWOP weather stations

How to connect

Servers

The following servers are available for APRS connections:

firenet.us - General connection - Rotates among available servers.
wg3k-ca.firenet.us - California server
wg3k-nj.firenet.us - New Jersey Server
~~we7u-ie.firenet.us - Ireland server~~

1314 - Message-only Feed
2023 - Full APRS-IS Feed
10152 - Full APRS-IS Feed
10154 - USA-only Feed
10155 - Firenet-only Feed
14580 - User-defined Filter Feed
14501 - Server Status Page (website-only)
